Enabling portfolios
Enabling the use of portfolios in LMS is a 2-step process for a site administrator:
- Check the enableportfolios box in Settings > Site administration > Advanced features
- Enable selected portfolio plugins in Settings > Site administration > Plugins > Portfolios > Manage portfolios
Individual portfolios will have a “Settings” link with configuration details and information.

Portfolio capabilities
- Export own assignment submissions (mod/assign:exportownsubmission)
- Export chat session which you took part in (mod/chat:exportparticipatedsession)
- Export forum discussions (mod/forum:exportdiscussion)
- Export forum posts (mod/forum:exportpost)
- Export own forum posts (mod/forum:exportownpost)
- Export own database activity entries (mod/data:exportownentry)
- Export glossary entries (mod/glossary:exportentry)
- Export own glossary entries (mod/glossary:exportownentry)
- Export to portfolio (lms/portfolio:export)
